For our latest results, check out the current listing.
This entry shall enable all ieX members to create a list of hardware, that will work with Vista Beta 1, or won't work, so that it's possible to check that even before installation. This may look like chaos, but for now we think bilingual (english/german) is the best solution to involve as much people as possible into this project (Besides, this entry originated as a post in ieX German Community). Feel free to contribute.
Hallo, basierend auf Thorongils Vorschlag im Board, ist dieser Wiki Eintrag entstanden, immerhin ist es viel sinnvoller hierfür die Wiki zu nutzen, da hier jeder am Ergebnis mitarbeiten kann, und nicht alles von einer Person abhängt ständig das Start Posting zu aktualisieren. Niemand muss sich extra anmelden um in der Wiki zu schreiben, ihr seid aber herzlich dazu eingeladen. Klickt auf Edit wenn ihr etwas hinzufügen möchtet und los gehts. Wenn ihr euch mit der Wiki Syntax noch nicht so gut auskennt, dann ist das kein Problem, klickt einfach links auf Help. Um möglichst viele Leute zum mitmachen zu bringen, ist es englisch/deutsch gehalten.

S-ATA/IDE/RAID-Controller
- nVidia nForce4 S-ATA/P-ATA RAID unsupported, no install / nicht unterstützt, keine Installation mgl. - In Fact it will KILL with prejudice, any raid partition you have set up as it tries to access the partition. - prepare to lose data if your drives are visible to vista.
- VIA SATA RAID Controller (integrated into VIA chipsets) supported for WinPE mode install. Need to move driver and .inf files for them to the root of a floppy or CD in order for the installer process to be able to see it via the "drivers" button. Works in both x86 and x64 versions.
