This entry shall enable all ieXwiki members to create a list of hardware that DOES NOT work with Windows 7 (Open Beta 1) (Build 7000) in order to check before installation. Feel free to contribute.

  • Please mention if it applies to the 32-Bit or the 64-Bit Build!
  • Please post in the right section. Don't just add a "is working this very way" to the not-working list but rather move it to the right section and then add your notes.

Has Problems, But Can Be Solved

Printers

  • HP LaserJet - Prints fine but accompanied software will not install

Sound Cards

  • Creative Labs Audigy 4 - No CMSS using Vista drivers available online.

Heavy Problems, currently incompatible

Modems

  • Huawei e220 USB Modem - Supplied by Vodafone internet/mobile services

Sound Cards

  • Creative X-Fi (64 bit only) - presumably drivers need to be re-signed for new OS

TV Tuners

  • Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP RM
