Overclocking
From IeXwiki
Overclocking in very basic terms is raising the Front Side Bus speed to achieve higher CPU speeds. The problem with Overclocking, you are throwing more power into your processor (or in other cases GPU, RAM or North-Bridge) and you are causing the components to get hotter. To help cope with overheating issues, some Overclockers go to extreme cooling solutions such as Water-Cooling, Vapor Phase Change Cooling or even Liquid Nitrogen. In many cases it's usually shyed upon to Overclock "stock" or out-of-the-box cooling solutions that came with the product. Overclocking is not supported by a lot of companys, and in many cases will void your warranty.
